Grand Sylhet Hotel & Resort
Sylhet's rooftop hotel pairs a heated pool with city and hill views
Skip to product information
Sylhet spreads out below the rooftop pool, where the water sits temperature-controlled against a skyline backed by hills and tea gardens. The hotel holds 235 rooms and suites, including 21 with extra space for a soaking tub and separate rain shower. Marble bathrooms and pillow-top beds are standard throughout. It is a short run from Osmani International Airport, about five minutes by road. Five dining outlets cover the day: a live-kitchen restaurant for breakfast through dinner, a grill room for steaks and sizzlers, a lobby deli for coffee and pastries, and an open-air rooftop spot by the pool for drinks with a view over the city. A shisha lounge runs into the small hours. Beyond the rooms, the hotel carries a fitness centre, a spa, a cinema and an arcade, along with 8,500 square feet of event space split across four meeting rooms and two ballrooms, the larger able to seat 550 guests for a wedding or conference. Check-in runs from 2pm. The scale here is built for gatherings as much as for a night's stay, and the rooftop terrace does double duty: quiet in the afternoon heat, busy by evening once the lights come up over Dhopagul.
