Grecian Sands Hotel

Grecian Sands Hotel is a beachfront stay on the edge of Ayia Napa, close enough to walk to town yet set right on the sand. The hotel is built in low tiers of white and blue, a colour scheme that carries through the rooms and suites. Its top floor holds the Roof Burger Bar, one of the higher points along this stretch of coast, where guests eat grilled burgers and salads with a wide view of the Mediterranean. Ground level opens straight onto the beach through the Grill Bar, positioned between the sand and the pool. Rooms range from Superior Studios to a two-bedroom Family Room, most with sea views and king or twin beds. There is an outdoor pool with a children's pool, and a separate indoor pool with a jacuzzi. A spa and wellness centre sits beside the gym, offering body treatments, facials and a hairdressing salon under one roof. In the evening, the Ulysses Bar opens onto a shaded terrace facing the gardens and the sea, with a regular line-up of live music. Ithaka Restaurant, on the ground floor, serves a la carte and buffet menus with panoramic sea views. The beach itself is soft and pale gold, with calm, clear water suited to swimming rather than surf. Water sports run directly off the sand, operated by an outside company. It is a compact, self-contained base for a week by the sea.
