Hammock Cove Antigua

Set on a rise above Antigua's northeast shore, near the arches and blowholes of a coastal national park, Hammock Cove is built entirely of freestanding villas rather than rooms. Every villa carries its own outdoor living space, a plunge pool and a wet bar stocked to the guest's own taste. Stone excavated from the site was worked back into the walls and floors, so the colour of the property matches the ground it stands on. The Signature Villa is the largest, at 1,490 sq ft, with a bigger deck and an indoor wet bar; Waterfront Villas sit closest to the sea, with infinity-edge plunge pools looking straight over the bay. It is an adults-only, all-inclusive property. A three-tier infinity pool steps down through the centre of the grounds toward the water, and a two-tier stretch of white sand runs along the shore with lounger service. Guests skip a front-desk check-in and are walked directly to a bar to start the stay. Dining runs across three restaurants and six bars, including a steakhouse and a fine-dining room under an executive chef. The Tranquility Body & Soul Spa holds five treatment rooms, one built as a circular space for couples. Boat trips, paddleboards and snorkelling gear are all included.
