Hapimag Resort Interlaken

Hapimag Resort Interlaken is a self-catering apartment resort on Höheweg, the town's main street, ten minutes on foot from both Interlaken-West and Interlaken-Ost stations. The Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau rise directly ahead. Apartments range from Budget doubles near reception to Deluxe one-room units on the top floor with a sunny terrace and mountain views; all have a kitchen, coffee machine and washing-up kit, though none has air conditioning. The Aarmühle Restaurant & Bar downstairs serves Swiss cooking built on seasonal ingredients, with breakfast running from 7.30am and takeaway available midday and evening. An indoor pool, a children's playroom and a sunbathing terrace with loungers round out the facilities, and there is a small kiosk and wellness area on site. Staff sell tickets for the mountain railways, useful given the resort's position below ski slopes and hiking trails that start almost at the door. Parking is available in a garage or outdoor lots, both at extra cost, and pets are welcome for a cleaning surcharge. Reception runs from 8am to 10pm; arrivals outside that window are asked to give notice in advance. It is a practical base, built around the view rather than around itself.
