Heliconia Grove

Heliconia Grove is a beachfront garden on Praslin's Cote d'Or, one of the island's calmest stretches of sand. The property runs to roughly 100 metres of direct beach frontage, backed by 13,000 m2 of planted grounds. Eight villas sit among the trees, each newly built and self-contained, with separate kitchen and living areas and air-conditioned bedrooms fitted with king beds under mosquito netting. One villa is a three-bedroom log cabin with a wide open verandah; the rest have private decks with sun loungers and a small plunge pool cleaned by UV rather than chemicals. Solar heats the water. You can walk to restaurants, shops and a bank in about ten minutes along the beach, and the water off Cote d'Or is sheltered enough for casual swimming most days.
