Hermitage Bay

Antigua's west coast holds Hermitage Bay against a curve of white sand and turquoise water, with the hills behind it thick with palm and almond trees. The bay itself is calm, sheltered enough for canoes and windsurfing, and the sand runs pale right to the waterline. Four villa types climb the slope or line the shore: Hillside Ocean Pool Villas set high among the greenery, Beachfront Villas within earshot of the waves, Beach Pool Villas with private pools moments from the sand, and Hillside Garden Pool Villas tucked into the foliage. Each has an outdoor shower and a wooden deck built for eating under the stars. It is a compact, adults-oriented stretch of coast. Down at the shore, a new beach club serves lobster with your feet in the sand, and the Tree Bar pours rum punch as the sun drops over the water. The Garden Spa sits among frangipani on the hillside, working with ESPA on treatments taken to the sound of the sea. An organic kitchen garden on the property supplies much of the kitchen's produce, and guided tours run for guests who want to see where the vegetables come from. Boats leave from the bay for Barbuda, where lunch at Nobu overlooks Princess Diana Beach. Condé Nast Traveler named it to its 2026 Gold List, and Michelin awarded it two keys.
