Hitohana

Winery Hitohana Hotel is a winery-owned stay in Kitanomine, on the northern edge of Furano, Hokkaido. The building sits close to Furano Prince Snow Resort, and a free shuttle covers the short distance to the lifts. Interiors keep to a plain, functional palette rather than heavy ornament. A public bath and a small library-lounge sit on site, along with ski storage and a laundry room. The hotel runs its own vineyard tour by car, a round trip of about forty-five minutes that takes in the tank room, barrel cellar, and pressing room, ending with a tasting of two of its wines. Free parking covers 21 cars. A shuttle also connects the hotel to Furano station, and in winter, to the ski resort itself.
