Arriving through a quiet Yakkasaray side street, guests find a two-storey building set back from the noise of central Tashkent. It is a small hotel, private and modern, with seven rooms finished to a European standard. Each has a wide bed with an anatomical mattress, a desk, a large-screen television and heated bathroom floors. Air conditioning runs throughout, and Wi-Fi covers every corner of the building.

Breakfast is cooked to order each morning, with fresh pastries, fruit, yoghurt and grain coffee laid out in a small dining room. You can walk to shops, cafes, bars and a handful of banks within a few minutes, and an indoor market sits nearby for fruit and local produce. Amir Timur Square and the State Museum of History are both a short trip away. The front desk runs around the clock, and staff will arrange airport transfers, car hire or ticket bookings on request.

Parking is free and watched by video surveillance day and night. Laundry and dry cleaning are available for a fee, and printing or scanning is handled at no cost. Check-in starts at 2pm, check-out at noon. It is a compact stay, built less for spectacle than for a well-run few days in the city centre.
