Built into the quiet end of Aberdeen, Freetown's business and tourism district, Home Suites Boutique Hotel has grown into seven distinct room and suite categories, from the Deluxe Room to the two-bedroom Home Suite and the 60 m² Golden Suite. Each has its own footprint and floor plan, but all share air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV and a marbleised, porcelain-tiled bathroom. The Executive Suite looks over Freetown's hills and the Atlantic. The Golden Suite, the largest at 60 m², adds a separate dining table for six and a jacuzzi in the master bedroom. Senior and Home Suites go further still, with kitchenettes fitted with a hot plate, microwave and fridge, built for stays that run longer than a weekend. Freetown's airport lies across the estuary, reachable by water taxi or speedboat in around 30 minutes. The Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary is a 25-minute drive; the city centre, national museum and Fourah Bay College are about 30 minutes away. On site, The Swan restaurant serves Italian and continental dishes, and there is an outdoor pool, a gym and a bar. It is a compact stay. Guests staying more than a month can use the living rooms as informal meeting space, part apartment, part hotel suite, built around Aberdeen's rhythm of business by day and beach by evening.
