Hon Tam Resort
An island resort off Nha Trang, reached only by boat
Skip to product information
Water separates Hon Tam from the mainland, and that is the point. The resort occupies its own island off Nha Trang, in Khánh Hòa province, reached by boat across a stretch of Nha Trang Bay. Arrival by water sets the tone before check-in. The island holds 59 bungalows and 15 villas, each with air conditioning, Wi-Fi and a private bathroom, spread along the shore rather than stacked into a single block. Rooms are plain and functional inside; the setting does the work outside. A seaside bar sits close enough to the water that you can watch the bay change colour through the afternoon. Two onsite restaurants split the cuisine between Asian and European menus, useful for longer stays where variety matters. Beyond the beach itself, the resort keeps a swimming pool, a spa and a fitness centre, so guests are not entirely dependent on sea conditions for the day's plans. The bay is sheltered, and the island setting means fewer roads and less traffic noise than resorts on the Nha Trang shoreline proper. It is a compact stay, built around the crossing and the water rather than any single grand structure. Boat transfers link the island to the mainland and shape the rhythm of the day, arrival and departure both bookended by the sea.
