Hopewell Hotel
Hopewell Hotel is one of the largest hotels in Hong Kong, with 1,000 rooms and suites stacked above Wan Chai on Kennedy Road. The building faces Victoria Harbour on one side and hillside greenery toward Victoria Peak on the other, so room category depends on which way a floor turns. Deluxe rooms, at 30 sq m, look toward the Peak's slopes. Premium Harbour rooms, from the 51st floor up, take in the water instead. It is a tall hotel. Four specialty suites occupy the 57th floor, named Wan Chai East and West and The Kennedy and The Bowen after the developer's local landmarks, each with two or three bedrooms and wide harbour views. The Penthouse East and West sit above them at 300 sq m, and the Presidential East and West suites, at 479 sq m with four bedrooms and a sun deck, are the largest in the building. Downstairs, Hopewell Inn serves Cantonese food and the Lobby Café covers an international menu, while over 6,500 sq m of column-free function space and Wan Chai's largest lifestyle mall sit within the same complex. Parking runs to more than 400 spaces, with drop-off built for coaches and cars alike. From the upper floors you can watch harbour traffic thread past Wan Chai's towers below.
