Hotel Amir

Arriving in Karakol's resort district, guests find a hotel built as one independent three-storey structure rather than converted from something older. Construction follows a seismic-resistant design, standard practice this close to the mountains. Rooms lean into an ethno style, drawing on regional pattern and craft rather than generic hotel decor. It is a compact, purpose-built stay. The family room sleeps four, with a king-size bed alongside two singles, a walk-in wardrobe with an in-room safe, and a desk. Bathrooms come stocked with towels, robes, disposable slippers and a hairdryer, refreshed according to length of stay. Every room carries hypoallergenic bedding and pillows, black-out curtains and an internal phone line to reception. Guests can call down for tea or a spare towel rather than walk to the front desk. Breakfast runs as a buffet and is included, served alongside a small bar and lounge area used for coffee or informal meetings.
