Hotel Augustyn

Set along a quiet canal in central Bruges, Hotel Augustyn occupies a corner of the city close to its historical hotspots. The building was fully renovated in 2020 and reopened that June, its 29 rooms rebuilt behind a canal-front façade. Superior rooms look directly onto the water. Each room has a television, private bathroom and high-speed Wi-Fi, and layouts run from small doubles to a family suite with kitchenette and walk-in shower. Some rooms sit under exposed beams reached only by stairs; others have parquet floors and lift access. The bar was renewed too, pouring local and international drinks alongside coffee, tea and snacks. Breakfast runs continental, available for a small extra charge, with snacks on hand through the day. Staff work across four languages and keep the front desk personal rather than procedural. It is a compact stay. Parking is limited to a handful of private spaces booked ahead, at a daily rate, plus one EV charger; street parking nearby is free overnight. Bicycles can be stored privately or rented by the half or full day. The neighbourhood itself stays notably calm, a few minutes on foot from the main tourist routes and the central train station within reach on foot as well.
