Hotel Boboty

Hotel Boboty is a mountain hotel set directly in Vrátna Valley, in the Malá Fatra range in northern Slovakia. Rooms and apartments face the ridgeline, and most look straight onto the peaks rather than the car park or village below. The hotel works across both seasons. In summer, guests walk the ridge trails or take the cable car up to Chleb; in winter, the Vrátna Malá Fatra ski area starts more or less at the door. Rooms run from compact 11 m² doubles to 34 m² family rooms and 31 m² apartments, all with private bathrooms and TV, and some fitted for step-free access. The restaurant seats around a hundred and looks out over the same ridges as the rooms, with a smaller café and a summer terrace attached. Families get a children's corner, table tennis, billiards and a football table, plus a wild boar enclosure in the grounds. It is not a quiet retreat by design. A night bar with a dance floor and bowling lanes runs through the season, and the hotel also takes weddings, conferences and corporate events. The setting does most of the work; the hotel simply gives you a base to use it from.
