Hotel Charleston Santa Teresa

Hotel Charleston Santa Teresa is a former 17th-century cloister in the walled centre of Cartagena. Stone courtyards and arcaded corridors run through the building, linking 87 rooms and suites furnished in a colonial and republican style. The property sits inside the old city walls, a UNESCO World Heritage site, within walking distance of plazas, churches and the harbour front. Rooms come with desks and smart televisions, plain conveniences set against the older stonework. A rooftop terrace opens onto views over the rooftops and the Caribbean beyond, with a pool and solarium for the afternoon heat. The Santa Teresa Spa occupies part of the ground floor, alongside a small jewellery store.
