Hotel Clement

Hotel Clement is the eldest of a small, family-run group of Prague hotels, sister to two others in the city's central district. The building sits in the Petrská quarter, a few minutes on foot from the river and from the shops and cafés of the Old Town. It is a compact stay: 76 air-conditioned rooms, spread across floors that climb toward the roofline. The top two floors hold the Superior rooms and the balcony rooms, where windows open onto rooftops and, in places, the water below. Furnishing runs to oak and beige fabric, plain rather than showy, with underfloor heating in the bathrooms and a Nespresso machine as standard. The Junior Suite sits at the end of a corridor and counts among the quietest rooms in the house. A Superior Suite adds a second bathroom and a fold-out sofa, useful for a family of four. Downstairs, a lobby bar anchors the ground floor, and the metro and tram lines run close by. Public transport and river cruises are within easy reach. Housekeeping runs daily, and the hotel favours energy-saving lighting and breakfast sourced locally. Prague's Main Train Station is a short walk away, useful for early departures.
