Haven, A Design Hotel is a suite-only property built into El Poblado, the Medellín neighbourhood known for its restaurants, galleries and nightlife around Lleras Park. The hotel's rooms are arranged as named suites rather than standard categories: Viscount, Earl, Lord, Duke and Marquess among the one-bedroom options, up to the Imperial and Excelsior suites with two or three bedrooms. The Presidential Suite tops the list at 145 m², a four-bedroom duplex for up to eight guests with double-height ceilings, a marble kitchen island, a vertical garden and its own indoor pool. It is an unusual amount of house for a city hotel. Emperor Penthouses sit above the suites, each with a full kitchen and a jacuzzi facing the skyline. On the eleventh floor, the 360 Rooftop Bar serves Colombian and international dishes and cocktails around a heated saltwater pool, open to hotel guests and, by advance reservation, to outside visitors on quieter days. The lobby's Swing Bar runs from morning coffee to evening cocktails and wine. Reception operates around the clock, with daily housekeeping and in-room dining available at any hour. Both the metro's El Poblado station and the boutiques and restaurants of Provenza are within walking distance. Check-in starts at 3pm.
