Hotel Ego

Hotel Ego is a ten-minute walk from Plovdiv's Old Town, set behind a small garden of tall trees just off the city centre's main street. The building reads as modern and clean-lined, its lobby mixing glass and dark wood with touches of colour. Fourteen room categories run from a 15 m² single up to a 57 m² quad and a 37 m² VIP apartment with its own corner bathtub and exercise bike. Rooms share a common thread: dark wood furniture, wooden shutters against the morning sun, and paintings by Plovdiv artists in ceramic and oil. Every room has air conditioning with individual temperature control, a minibar, flat-screen television and free Wi-Fi. Some doubles and the balcony apartment open onto a private terrace. The bathrooms are compact but complete, fitted with a shower cubicle, hairdryer and mirror. Breakfast is included in the room rate. Pets are welcome for a surcharge. The international fairground is a 15-minute walk or 10-minute drive away, and the city's rowing canal lies 15 minutes on foot. Local buses stop two minutes from the entrance, reaching every district of Plovdiv.
