Hotel Elblag

Set on the Old Town's main square in Elbląg, the hotel looks over the river that gives the district its shape, with the rebuilt medieval streets a short walk in every direction. The building holds 85 rooms across three tiers: 74 standard rooms, 10 premium rooms and five suites, all with blackout curtains and air conditioning. It is a compact, workable stay. Premium rooms add bathrobes and slippers, while the larger apartments run to two bedrooms, a kitchenette and, in one case, a terrace with a table and chairs. The biggest, the Two-Bedroom Apartment, spans 120 square metres and sleeps four, with a dishwasher and washing machine built in. Downstairs, the restaurant serves international dishes alongside a lobby bar, and guests can order breakfast to go with a coffee and sandwich. From the square you can reach St Nicholas Cathedral and the Pheasant House on foot, and the old ski lift on Góra Chrobrego is close enough for an afternoon detour. The hotel functions equally for a work trip and a weekend in the Old Town, with desks and safes in every room and international channels on the televisions. Check-in and the reception desk sit just off the square, steps from the river.
