Hotel Francuski
Kraków's first purpose-built hotel stands steps from the Old Town
Hotel Francuski is set inside Kraków's Old Town, close to the city walls and the Barbakan, and opposite the Princes Czartoryski Museum. It was the first building in the city raised specifically as a hotel, and the neo-classical bones of that original structure remain visible in its cornices and proportions. The forty-three rooms and suites look out over Pijarska and Św. Rooms range from a compact 16 m² single to a 45 m² two-room apartment, with Deluxe doubles reaching 35 m². Brasserie L'Olympique, the in-house restaurant, has served French cuisine for more than a century and holds a 2025 Michelin Guide recommendation. Kazimierz and the Old Town are both a short walk away. It is a compact stay, built for the centre of the city rather than around it.
