Hotel Golden Tulip Essential Namgang

Facing the Nam River across Chokseok-ro, the glass line of guest room windows frames water on one side and the walls of Jinju Castle on the other. Golden Tulip Essential Namgang was the first international-brand hotel to open in Jinju, and it sits in the middle of the city's oldest quarter. It is a three-star property with 128 rooms, split across Standard, Superior and Deluxe categories, ranging from 22 to 28 m². Each room holds a flat-screen television, air conditioning, a desk and a hairdryer, with tea and coffee laid out on a tray. Bathrooms are en suite, fitted with showers and basic toiletries. The restaurant sits on the third floor. Breakfast runs as a buffet of international dishes, and you can watch the river while you eat. Lunch and dinner shift toward Italian plates alongside Korean cooking, made with ingredients sourced locally. A coffee shop off the lobby serves drinks and light snacks through the day. The front desk runs 24 hours, and concierge staff handle onward plans, from tickets for the Jinju Namgang Yudeung lantern festival each October to walking directions to the National Museum. Sacheon National Airport is roughly 20 minutes by car; Jinju's KTX station is a 10-minute taxi ride. Check-in starts at 3pm, checkout at 11am.
