Colourful rooms fill a renovated townhouse steps from Amsterdam's museum quarter
Skip to product information
Set behind a 19th-century façade on the Jan Luijkenstraat, Hotel JL No76 fills a terraced townhouse with artwork on nearly every wall. The rooms number 39 across several floors, each finished with a COCO-MAT bed and a walk-in rainfall shower. Some look onto a private courtyard garden; others take in the street view of the surrounding townhouses. The Deluxe Room has a high ceiling and large windows. The Family Room sits at basement level, with a separate bunk-bed room for four. Downstairs, an honesty bar serves wine by the glass, and breakfast runs each morning in the dining room. The location does the rest of the work. Leidseplein, the Vondelpark, and the PC Hooftstraat shopping street are all close by, and the Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum, Stedelijk Museum, and Moco Museum sit within an easy walk of the front door. It is a compact stay, quiet behind its townhouse windows, loud with art just outside them. Check-in runs from 3pm, check-out until 11am, and breakfast is served daily from 7am to 11am.
