Hotel Jūrmala Spa

Built in wood and stone throughout, the rooms at Jūrmala SPA Hotel favour natural materials over the gloss common to city spa hotels. There are 190 of them, across seven categories from standard to suite, and the higher floors catch views over the Gulf of Riga and the town below. Thirty-one rooms on the ninth floor were refreshed most recently, in 2024. The hotel sits directly on Jomas, Jūrmala's pedestrian street, a few hundred metres from the beach and a 10-minute walk from Dzintari Concert Hall. Riga is 20 km away, the airport 10 km closer still. Wellness Oasis, the hotel's sauna and pool centre, runs to six saunas and three pools at different temperatures, with unlimited access built into stays of two nights or more. Guests can order a cocktail without leaving the water at the Aqua bar inside it. Above it all, on the eleventh floor, the Seaside bar looks out over the town and the gulf. Restaurant Jūrmala, on the first floor, opens onto a summer terrace facing Jomas street and can seat a gala dinner for 350. Operating since 2005, the hotel is one of the largest spa properties in the Baltics, with eight conference rooms for events.
