Hotel Julian Alps
Setting off on an e-bike or a Vespa from the front door, guests reach Triglav National Park within minutes; Lake Bled is a short ride away. Hotel Julian Alps sits at Zgornje Gorje, on the edge of the park, and works as a base for hiking, cycling, canyoning, and paddleboarding rather than a destination in itself. It is a compact stay. Fifteen rooms range from Standard Doubles to a Heritage Suite, each with a private bathroom, minibar, and a window onto the surrounding mountains and forest. Pets are welcome in designated rooms, with a two-pet limit per room and a nightly fee for cleaning. Restaurant Julija runs without a fixed menu, building nightly three- or four-course sets around local produce, Slovenian wine, and a choice of certified waters, served with a view over the forest. A private sauna room operates daily and can be booked for sessions from thirty minutes to four hours. Guides can arrange full-day e-bike routes through the park with a packed lunch, or a two-hour stand-up paddleboard session on Lake Bled. Bled Castle, over a thousand years old, stands a short distance off, and Triglav, Slovenia's highest peak, is visible from the terrace at sunset. Parking and Wi-Fi are included.
