Hotel Lilla Roberts
Art Deco police station turned design hotel in central Helsinki
Skip to product information
Hotel Lilla Roberts is a former police station turned hotel, set in Helsinki's Kaartinkaupunki district among the city's design shops and galleries. The building dates to the 1930s, and its Art Deco bones remain: high ceilings, geometric detailing, a sense of period proportion carried into every room. The core city sits close by. You can walk to the Ateneum Art Museum or the Museum of Finnish Architecture in minutes, and the harbour and main shopping streets are a short stroll further on. All rooms carry air conditioning, minibars and Egyptian cotton bedding. Downstairs, the restaurant Krog Roba occupies the building's old police hall, serving Nordic dishes for dinner and a weekend brunch; the room seats up to 100 for private events. Bar Lilla e., the hotel's cocktail bar, sits just off the lobby. There is also a small gym and a summer terrace. Check-in is from 3pm.
