Hotel Mauberme is a small hotel set in Salardú, four kilometres from the ski lifts at Baqueira. It holds fifteen rooms in total: eleven doubles, four suites, and one apartment sized for seven or eight guests with its own kitchen and washing machine. Wood-lined ceilings and underfloor heating run through the rooms, and most look out over the Val d'Aran and its surrounding peaks; some open onto private terraces. Downstairs, the Chimney Lounge gives guests a fireplace and a quiet corner for reading or a drink, and in summer a chillout terrace faces the Aneto peak and the Maladetas massif. A gym covers weights, a rowing machine and a spin bike, and a dedicated workshop lets guests tune skis or bikes and store gear in lockers. Breakfast runs on local, organically grown produce, from fresh eggs to homemade cakes, with gluten-free options available. The hotel takes pets. It also installs an electric car charger, a practical touch for a mountain base built around skiing, hiking, and cycling routes that fan out from Salardú into the wider Val d'Aran. Baqueira's slopes lie five minutes away by car.
