Hotel Navona Colors

Named for the shades of Rome itself, Navona Colors takes its palette from the Sistine Chapel, Caravaggio's canvases and the stalls of Campo de' Fiori. It holds 19 rooms. Each comes with air conditioning, a minibar and a Nespresso machine stocked with free capsules. Superior rooms get a balcony; triples look over Via dell'Orso; family rooms pair a double bed with a sofa bed for small groups. The suite is the one to book: it has the only panoramic terrace, fitted with a table, chairs and a chaise longue, built for an evening drink rather than a quick photo. A separate two-bedroom apartment near the piazza suits longer stays, with its own kitchen and two bathrooms. Piazza Navona is under 300 metres away, and the street outside stays quiet despite the crowds gathered at the fountain. Breakfast is made to order, with allergies and diets accommodated on request. Reception runs around the clock and can arrange transfers, scooter rental or restaurant bookings. The Pantheon and Vatican Museums are both within walking distance, close enough that a return trip for lunch is entirely reasonable.
