Hotel Olé Caribe

Ole Caribe is set on the coast at Macuto, where the Caribbean Sea meets a run of green mountains along the Vargas shoreline. The hotel is 20 minutes from Maiquetía International Airport and 40 minutes from Caracas, close enough for a day trip and far enough to feel apart from the capital. It holds 126 rooms across standard doubles, junior suites and suites, most with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a safe and a stocked fridge. Several categories look over the sea and pool, and one suite adds a private terrace with loungers facing the coastline. Rooms use king or twin beds, and connecting rooms are available for families. The two restaurants, La Cascada and El Capitán, along with Tasca Olé, cover an international menu that runs from grilled prawns to bull's tail cordobesa-style. A gym, sauna and saltwater pool round out the daily amenities. For groups, the hotel offers 900 m² of event space split across four halls, including a poolside solarium used for cocktails and private functions. Check-in runs from 3pm, check-out from 1pm.
