Set behind exposed brick walls and centuries-old timber beams, Palazzetto Rosso pairs a medieval palazzo with contemporary design furniture. Against this, the nine rooms bring in pieces by Artemide, Muuto, Kartell and Casamania, along with leather armchairs by Patrick Jouin and canvases by the Amsterdam painter Cathalijn Wouters. Rooms range from 24 to 53 m², with ceilings up to 5 m in the largest suites. The Suite Design RedCube occupies the first floor and holds a glass-walled bathroom shaped like a red cube, set into a room lined with frescoes and a working fireplace. The Suite Panoramic TopView, on the third floor, looks out toward Piazza del Campo and the Torre del Mangia, with a slanted bed positioned to catch the view. Double linen curtains from Boussac run through most rooms, a quiet thread tying the medieval fabric of the building to its furnishing. It is a compact hotel. Via dei Rossi runs through the historic centre, close to the Piazza del Campo and the route of the Palio.
