Hotel Petrčane
Beachfront hotel in Petrčane, eight kilometres from Zadar, with transfers arranged on request
Arriving in Petrčane, guests find a four-star hotel set right against the sea in the centre of the village, built in 2016 to modern construction standards. The building holds 17 double rooms, one adapted for guests with disabilities, a single room, three triple en-suite rooms with balconies, and three quad en-suite rooms. Rooms come with Smart TV, satellite channels, mini bar, free Wi-Fi, a safe, and a phone. It is a compact, current build. Guests eat on a terrace facing the sea, where the restaurant serves homemade Dalmatian dishes alongside continental options and a selection of wines, and you can watch the sunset over a drink after dinner. A pine-shaded beach lies about 70 metres from the hotel, with sports grounds, bars, and restaurants clustered nearby, making it workable for families with small children who want shade off the sand. The hotel keeps its own pool and Jacuzzi for guests who prefer not to walk to the sea, plus free parking, an elevator, air conditioning throughout, and a 24-hour reception. Zadar sits eight kilometres off, reachable for anyone after a change of pace, and the hotel arranges transfers there or to the airport for an extra charge. Petrčane itself stays quiet, built around the rhythm of the coast rather than the city.
