Hotel Ryumeikan Tokyo
Hotel Ryumeikan Tokyo is a fifteen-storey stay in Yaesu, Chuo City, three minutes' walk from Tokyo Station's north exit. The Imperial Palace and Akasaka's imperial grounds sit within easy driving distance, though the hotel's own appeal starts at street level, in a district built for arrival and departure. Rooms run from a 31.4 m² double to a single 70.3 m² suite, the only one of its kind in the hotel, with two 40-inch televisions and an open bath alongside a separate rain shower. The FORUS concept rooms take three different approaches to the same idea: one styled as a Tokyo loft with a writing table and sofa corner, one blending tatami with a low table for tea, one built around a tatami bed and display shelving for luggage. Bathrooms feature a fine-mist shower head with 0.4 mm nozzles, designed to soften water pressure on skin and hair. Hanagoyomi, the hotel's dining room, serves traditional Japanese food with views over the city below, and a Japanese tea room adds a quieter option. Vending machines sit on every floor. Laundry service is available. Check-in runs from 2pm.
