Hotel Saffron

Ceiling cooling keeps the rooms even through Bratislava summers, and solar panels and a heat pump run quietly behind the comfort. The Felicity Garni Hotel is a small, modern hotel in the Nivy district, the city's newer business quarter, close to the Nové Nivy bus station and the Eurovea shopping centre. It is a short stay, in scale as much as size. Rooms come in single, double, double-with-extra-bed and family configurations, each with its own bathroom, a work desk, safe, minibar and flat-screen satellite TV, plus free high-speed wifi throughout. Breakfast runs as a buffet or à la carte, and guests can take coffee or a glass of wine on the sunny terrace. The whole hotel is non-smoking, and a towel programme is part of its environmental push. Staff will store luggage, sell public transport tickets, arrange laundry and pressing, and organise transfers to the airport or the stations on request. Cots, children's chairs and games are kept for younger guests, and pets are welcome, water bowls included. You can walk into the Old Town in about 20 minutes, or reach it by public transport in 10. Parking is on-site and covered by CCTV.
