Hotel Solerios

Set four blocks back from Mansa beach, Hotel Solerios occupies a quiet corner of Punta del Este within walking distance of the town's restaurants and shops. The building is new, finished in a minimalist style, and every room opens onto its own terrace or balcony through floor-to-ceiling glass. Superior rooms measure 30 square metres and face the city. Deluxe rooms, at 31 square metres, look partly out to sea. A two-room Suite Familiar, at 40 square metres, adds a separate sitting area for families or longer stays. It is a compact hotel, built more like an apartment block than a resort. Up top, the rooftop bar pours tapas and champagne against a wide view of the city and the beach below. The hotel also runs a heated indoor pool, hydromassage tub, sauna and gym, along with parking, laundry and Wi-Fi throughout. Guests can borrow umbrellas and beach chairs for the short walk down to the sand. Rooms come fitted with a kitchenette, microwave and coffee maker, useful for anyone staying a few nights rather than passing through.
