Hotel The VIP Caracas
Altamira's rooftop hotel, where El Ávila fills the terrace view
Skip to product information
Set above Altamira's rooftops, the terrace at The VIP Caracas frames El Ávila's ridge in full view, a backdrop for the evening cocktails served there. The hotel sits in Chacao, in the district known as Caracas's financial and cultural core, dense with bistros and bars. Rooms run in five categories, from a 35 m² Queen up to the 90 m² Suite Deluxe, which adds a separate lounge, a jacuzzi and a fireplace. The Suite Terraza, at 75 m², has its own private terrace and a deep soaking tub. Every room comes with air conditioning, a safe and Wi-Fi; the two largest categories add room service. Breakfast is included throughout. A weekend brunch draws a local crowd, and the bar keeps its own following after dark. The hotel also runs a spa for massages and treatments, and an events floor equipped for meetings and banquets for up to 30 guests, with audiovisual gear and coffee breaks laid on. Parking is free and on-site. It reads less as a hotel than as a fixed point in the neighbourhood's own social rhythm, one where the view north to the mountain is the constant.
