Hotel Tino Sveti Stefan

Named for its setting at Sveti Stefan, on the shore of Lake Ohrid, the hotel is built around a programme of water: a heated outdoor pool run with salt and minerals, an indoor infinity pool kept open all year, a sauna, and a steam bath. It is a modern build, not a historic one, and its architecture reads that way — flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, and balconies fitted as standard across the room categories. Rooms split between two outlooks. Double and twin rooms face either the lake or the forest behind it, each with a balcony and its own bathroom fittings. The deluxe suite runs to 200 square metres, with two double beds and two sofa beds, for groups or families staying longer. Two conference rooms serve business groups, one seating up to 100 and the smaller one 20, both fitted with a projector and flip chart. Families are covered too: an indoor playground sits off the restaurant, with a seasonal outdoor version added in summer. The outdoor sauna is built for the colder months, meant to be used alongside the heated pool rather than instead of it. From the terrace you can see across the water toward Ohrid's older shoreline. Free parking is provided on site. It is a compact, amenity-dense stay rather than a landmark one, built less on history than on year-round comfort by the lake.
