A boutique Siem Reap stay built on Khmer hospitality and quiet sustainability

Hotel Vellita is a 35-room boutique hotel in Siem Reap, close enough to Angkor Wat, the Old Market and Pub Street to reach them within minutes. Rooms are compact but detailed: expect a private balcony, a working area, an espresso machine and organic bath amenities across categories from the Deluxe King to the Junior Suite and Vellita Suite, several with views over the pool and gardens. The Vellita Suite adds a rainwater shower and a private terrace looking over green fields and the city. Breakfast for two is included, and turndown service runs nightly. Downstairs, Zest restaurant serves Khmer and international dishes, with a poolside bar for a more casual meal or a drink brought straight to a sun lounger. Akara Spa offers Khmer and herbal compress massage, aromatherapy and hot stone treatments, drawing on oils and plants grown in Cambodia. It is a compact stay, but a considered one. Sustainability runs through daily operations: textiles are sourced locally and fair-trade, cleaning products lean natural, and about 90% of staff are Cambodian, part of a wider effort to keep the hotel's identity rooted in the local community. Beyond the grounds, the hotel arranges bicycle tours, jeep excursions, a monk blessing, and a sunset picnic at a rice field outside the city.
