Balconies run across every room at the Diamant Residence, most looking down over the pool or out across the roofs of Sunny Beach. The hotel holds 222 rooms in all, from a compact 15 m² single to a two-bedroom family apartment of 40 m² that sleeps up to six. Warm tones and full-length mirrors furnish each one, along with a minibar, safe and a bathroom fitted with a shower and hairdryer. The beach itself is close. It lies 450 metres from the hotel, an easy walk down through the resort. Nessebar, the old walled town on its own small peninsula and a UNESCO World Heritage site, sits 1.5 km further along the coast, its stone churches and narrow lanes a short taxi ride away. Inside, the hotel runs on an all-inclusive basis, with a main restaurant, a pool bar and themed dinner nights twice a week. A spa and beauty centre offers massage and facial treatments, and there is a fitness room, table tennis and an outdoor pool with a separate section for children. A kids' club and daily animation programme run through the main season. You can hear the pool area humming with activity by midday, then quieten again after the dinner buffet opens. It is a straightforward base for a family beach holiday on Bulgaria's Black Sea coast.
