Ikos Oceania
Nea Moudania, on Halkidiki's coast, gave this resort its stretch of sand and its name in Greek waters facing Mount Olympus. Ikos Oceania was built across fifteen acres of garden between the shore and the road in, with 290 rooms and suites fully renovated and arranged around six pools, including one infinity pool set above the beach. The beach itself runs for 350 metres of Blue Flag sand, backed by fir trees and open for windsurfing as well as swimming. Rooms carry a plain palette of white and Aegean blue, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a private balcony, terrace, or garden; the Deluxe Collection suites add marble bathrooms, sea-facing terraces, and a bottle of Taittinger on arrival. Five restaurants cover Greek, Italian, French, and Asian menus, with wine included and a Dine Out scheme that sends guests to local tavernas nearby. You can watch Mount Olympus turn pink at dusk from the pool bar. Thessaloniki airport lies about 50 km away, roughly a 40-minute drive. It is a family-built resort at heart, with kids' clubs, a playground, and childcare built into the daily routine, alongside a spa by Anne Semonin Paris for the adults.
