Iririki Island Resort & Spa
Nine accommodation styles on a private island, three minutes from Port Vila
Skip to product information
Iririki is a private island in Port Vila Harbour, a three-minute ferry crossing from the capital and close enough that guests can watch the town lights from the water. The island rises to a hilltop lookout and is threaded by cobbled paths, which makes some routes steep going for anyone with mobility concerns. Rooms come in nine styles, from Island Faré bungalows set among the trees to Premium Waterfront and Overwater Faré facing the harbour; newer plunge pool villas add a tenth option. A 130-metre beach runs beside the main jetty, fitted out for loungers and beach volleyball, while a second cove nearby is kept as a protected no-fishing zone for snorkelling. Two pools anchor the day: an infinity pool with full ocean views and a tiered sunset pool with a swim-up bar. You can hear the reef break from the water sports centre, where kayaks and paddleboards go out free of charge. A spa sits at the island's highest point, reached on foot, with harbour views that reward the climb; a second, simpler spa operates beside the infinity pool. Azure Restaurant overlooks the harbour and runs a Tuesday Melanesian feast with local dance, plus a Saturday fire show. The resort's own market garden and fruit trees supply much of the kitchen. Breakfast is a daily buffet, included for every stay.
