Kaamala Resort Ubud
Kaamala Resort & Spa Ubud is named for the lotus, kamala in Sanskrit, and the flower's stages, root, stem, petal, water, shape the resort's design and rituals. Ten room and villa categories range from a Suite with Forest View to a Presidential two-bedroom pool villa overlooking rice fields; every villa type comes with a private pool and a bathtub, while suites use a shared infinity pool. Grand suites and select rooms look over the forest canopy, and you can watch macaques pass the pool at breakfast. Three restaurants anchor the food side: Habitat Bistro for local and Italian dishes with forest views, Shichirin Ubud for Japanese teppanyaki and sushi, and Seven Paintings for a tasting-menu format. Svaha Spa Bisma handles treatments on site, alongside yoga and floating sound-healing sessions. The resort holds a Gold Eco-Climate Badge from Eco Tourism Bali. Check-in runs from 3pm.
