Kafue Eco Ventures
Royal Kafue is situated on the banks of the Kafue River, North East of Kafue National Park. It is a private-community owned concession that is a pristine wilderness area, remote and exclusive. It is home to lions and other cats, as well as large herds of buffalo, elephants and many other antelope species endemic to Zambia and also only found in the Kafue. The bush camp offers a rustic charm that's comfortable and authentic. All tents are spacious and fully equipped with an ensuite bathroom. The Lapa area has a large dining, lounge and bar area. Additional amenities include a traditional open fireside kitchen and a chef who can cook traditional and western food. Guests will have the unique opportunity to see the organisation's conservation work and endeavours, community responsibilities, game counts and checking trail cameras. Guests can also witness their anti-poaching teams and help with snare removal. The camp offers a range of activities to suit all guests interests, such as night drives, sunset drives, sleep-out safaris, tracking wildlife with traditional local trackers, as well as the experience of a Professional Guide who has had over 30 years of experience in the bush.
