KOIA All-Suite Wellbeing Resort

Set into the slope of the Hill of Agios Fokas, KOIA All-Suite Wellbeing Resort steps down toward the Kerameikos Gulf six kilometres from Kos town. The design borrows from the old Doric settlements of the island, working stone and timber into low, terraced volumes rather than a single tall block. Fifty-one suites and villas are spread across the hillside for privacy, some built as freestanding houses, others cut into the rock as cave suites with a rounded, enclosed feel. Most open onto a private pool or hot tub, and the sea sits within view from nearly every terrace. The Villa is the largest, at 100 square metres with two bedrooms and its own infinity pool meeting the horizon. A beach lies just 50 metres from the grounds, across the road. Ydor, the spa wing, holds an indoor pool, hammam, and sauna built around water and herb treatments drawn loosely from Hippocratic practice, the physician born on Kos. You can take breakfast floating on your own pool before the day starts. Dining leans on Greek staples and produce from the island, served at set tables or, on request, privately outdoors. It is an adults-only property. Rooms run from 27 to 100 square metres, all with terraces, mini-bars, and organic bath products.
