Kokogrove Chalets
Three chalet types on Enfoncement Hill, a pool, and a family-run welcome
Kokogrove Chalets is a small, family-run stay set into Enfoncement Hill above Anse Royale, on the southeast coast of Mahe Island. The chalets are built of timber, painted in bright colours, and run to three configurations: a one-bedroom chalet, a two-bedroom chalet, and a studio apartment with a sofa bed for extra guests. Each has its own kitchenette, a patio, satellite television, and a mosquito net over the bed. Air conditioning runs throughout. The pool sits at the centre of the grounds, ringed by loungers and a garden that gives way to views over the Indian Ocean. It is a compact stay. Anse Royale beach lies under a kilometre away, and a spice garden and craft village sit within a few kilometres by car. The host arranges airport transfers, water deliveries, and the occasional barbecue dinner for guests staying across the chalets. Seychelles International Airport is a ten-minute drive. A car is worth arranging, since the hill setting means Anse Royale's shops and cafés are a short drive rather than a walk. Laundry and ironing are available for a fee, and daily housekeeping is included.
