Kopernikus Hotel Prag

Set on Kraljice Natalije street in central Belgrade, Kopernikus Hotel Prag occupies a building listed as a cultural monument, a short walk from Republic Square, Knez Mihailova and the Kalemegdan fortress. The hotel holds 82 rooms across six categories, from an economy single at 11 m² to a suite at 32 m² with a separate sitting area. All rooms carry double glazing for sound and hypoallergenic bedding, along with air conditioning, a safe, minibar and kettle. Bed sizes run from 90x200cm in the smallest singles up to 160x200cm in the suite and family room. The restaurant seats sixty, or 110 with its aperitif bar, and looks out over one of the city's oldest streets. A separate bar holds fifty and runs coffee through to evening drinks. It is a compact stay by Belgrade standards, but a well-placed one. Guests on higher floors get a clear view over the rooftops toward the Sava, and past visitors have noted the quiet of the rooms despite the central address. The hotel also runs a small spa and keeps a 24-hour reception. Breakfast covers both Serbian dishes, such as kačamak and uštipci, and a standard English plate, served in the same restaurant used for lunch and dinner service.
