Six villa types, one Noonu Atoll island, reached only by seaplane

Kuredhivaru is a private island in the Noonu Atoll, set roughly 122 miles north of Malé and reached by seaplane in about 45 minutes. The lagoon runs shallow and clear along the beach, with a house reef close enough to explore on foot from the shore. Villas sit either over the water or along the sand, each with its own plunge pool; the Overwater Pool Villas measure 140 m² with king beds and glass floors that frame the fish below. Beach Pool Villas step up to 190 m², some with direct beach access, and a Four Bedroom Beach Pool Residence spans 230 m² for larger groups. Dining is spread across a handful of restaurants: seafood and ocean views at Bodumas, grilled meats poolside at Latitude 5.5, and a bamboo-roofed market restaurant, Onu Marché, for buffet and themed nights. In-villa dining runs privately, arranged through an island host. You can hear the sea from most terraces, and night snorkelling trips run out from the jetty for guests keen to see the reef after dark. A Sun Spa by Healing Earth, a yoga pavilion, a 24-hour beachfront gym and two pools round out the grounds. Check-in runs from 3pm. It is a small island with a tight, walkable footprint, better suited to guests happy to stay within its reef than those wanting miles of open water to cover.
