Hôtel La Malle Poste is a 17th-century former post house standing in the centre of Rochefort. Built as a relay stop for mail coaches, the stone building has been restored rather than replaced, and its old walls now enclose twenty-four rooms and suites across the Ardennes town. Room categories range from the compact Standard to the Suite Maison du Cocher, set in the hotel's oldest wing among original stonework. It is a small, characterful stay. The Suite Les Thermes Garden opens onto the hotel's own garden, with a private sitting area and view over the lawns. Downstairs, a wellness area holds an indoor pool, sauna and hammam, open on a fixed daily schedule, and the lounge bar keeps club chairs around an open fire for a drink before or after dinner. You can hear little beyond the garden from the upper rooms, a rare thing in a town centre. The hotel sits close to the Caves of Han, within easy reach for a day trip, and stands as a Tero Group property. Breakfast runs as a buffet each morning, and private parking sits behind the building, reached from Rue de l'Église. Dogs are welcome for a nightly charge, though not at breakfast.
