Kayaking

Kayaks are kept at the dock, free for guests to take out at their own pace. Reception supplies paddles and life jackets on request. Paddling the blackwater brings chances to spot monkeys, Hoatzins and other rainforest birds along the banks, at whatever hour suits. The water itself is a feature: tannin-dark and silky smooth, particularly welcome after a jungle hike. There is no set schedule or guide required, just ask at reception and go. A towel can be requested separately, rather than taking one from the suite.
