Lake Mulehe Gorilla Lodge sits above Lake Mulehe near Kisoro in southwest Uganda, within reach of two gorilla-tracking parks. The Rushaga gate is twenty-four kilometres away — roughly forty-five minutes by road. Nkuringo gate is twenty-eight kilometres, about an hour. Mgahinga Gorilla National Park is twenty-six kilometres, around fifty minutes. Kisoro town is thirteen kilometres, twenty-five minutes.

The lodge has fourteen ensuite rooms, each with a private veranda. From those verandas you look out over the lake and across to three of the Virunga volcanoes: Muhabura, Mgahinga, and Sabinyo. Three rooms can be configured as triples; all rooms can be arranged as singles, doubles, or twins. Rooms have mosquito nets, showers, and electrical outlets. The main lodge has an open fireplace — welcome on cold nights at this altitude — along with a bar, a shared lounge, and a restaurant serving local and international food. Rates include all meals, bottled water in the room, and tea and coffee. A massage service is available on site.

Activities from the lodge include gorilla tracking, golden monkey trekking at Mgahinga, hiking in the Virungas, guided village and forest walks, birdwatching, and boating on the lakes in the area. The lodge supports local conservation and community tourism initiatives.

The nearest airstrip is at Kisoro, with road access to the lodge from there.
