Landmark Amman Hotel and Conference Center
Set on Al Hussein Bin Ali Street, within walking distance of the old quarter of Jabal Al Lweibdeh and the newer Abdali district, Landmark Amman is a five-star hotel built for both business and leisure travellers. It is the only Jordanian-owned five-star property in the capital. The hotel holds 258 rooms and suites, among the largest in the country, many recently renovated with local artwork, mosaics and Arabic calligraphy set against contemporary furnishings. Seventeen event spaces handle everything from board meetings to large exhibitions, and the on-site conference facilities draw a steady corporate crowd. Six restaurants and bars cover the range: Skyline Sushi for Japanese plates, Colours for all-day international dining, and Ghoroub, a thirteenth-floor terrace bar with what the hotel calls the longest bar in Amman. It moves indoors as an Arabic-themed lounge once the weather turns. Zone Bar, on the ground floor, keeps sport on the screens and a happy hour running. Outdoors, Zest Pool & Lounge sits among citrus and olive trees, with a seasonal outdoor pool open from mid-April to mid-October. A gym, sauna, jacuzzi and floodlit tennis court round out the wellness offer. Queen Alia International Airport is a 30-minute drive, and on-site parking is complimentary for hotel and conference guests. It is, above all, a working hotel for a working city.
