Laniakea

Laniakea is a self catering lodge located within Mjejane Private Game Reserve that is part of the Greater Kruger National Park. Nesteled in the heart of the savanna biome, our classic original thatched lodge boasts a 340 plus bird list and everyday sightings of the big 5 The area is known for its high volumes of ungulates and the range of wild dog, lion and leopard predators that feed off them. Laniakea is a home away from home for the avid bird, bush and Big 5 bush lover.

Ours is a uniquely designed and beautifully decorated artists home, that we rent out on occasion to select guests as a self-catering lodge that sleeps eight in four stand-alone double en suite bedrooms. The stand alone rooms are linked together by a flowing deck walkway to the Main Lodge and living and pool area overlooking the Crocodile River. The lodge has a dedicated open safari vehicle for private game drives with a qualified guide within the 96 kilometres of Mjejane Game Reserve road network.
